I love to create works of beauty, imagination, and strange symmetry using the techniques of piecework (applique) and embroidery that I developed through becoming a designer and creator of intricate Irish dance dresses and liturgical vestments.

Nature has often been the source of contemplation for these works ~ whether it is the Tree of Life, or a Passion flower whose every petal holds meaning for one who sees it as an emblem for the cross. We're given minds and hearts that respond to the beauty of color and symbol, and which long for the Meaning behind it. But even a glimpse is enoug...
